I love this. Needing to feel heard this woebot helps
This app is a good tool to frame one’s thinking when things get rough emotionally. I have been using the guidance and reflective aspects of it to handle some transitions and it’s been a friendly light-hearted way to get some correction.
Mental health professional here. I have been using Woebot for several months and though the gifs may become redundant, I appreciate the developers’ ability to game-ify topics like CBT, mindfulness, and much more. These concepts need to be used daily in order to become naturally habitual and this app literally ensures that it happens, while “holding your hand”. Not having to type makes it so much easier to navigate when you’re practiced in the concepts.
Well, it tried. At least. I told this AI everything about myself, and it’s response was something along the lines of “hey, I’m just a robot, maybe try talking to another human” It tried to help, I guess.

The format for sadness tool has changed all of a sudden without an update, it doesn’t let you rewrite other thoughts in the same session as it did before and just automatically makes you leave the convo after 1st rewrite. This change is counterproductive and should be reversed
