Let’s download and install the Trails Offroad app on PC using the Nox Player android emulator. There are a few steps to get this done as mentioned below:
- Start by downloading the Nox emulator for your PC from their official website. You can find it in your downloads folder.
- Double click on the downloaded file, accept the permissions and install Nox player on your computer.
- Open the Nox Player and locate the Play Store app and log into your Google account using your credentials.

Fabulous app for 4 wheeling
App currently won’t download offline maps. I’ve reinstalled, restarted, etc. I have 50gb free space, and 300mbs+ wifi speed from my phone (1gbs connection). The maps download to about 70% and stall- trying to download Utah. I’ll probably have to switch back to OnX, as their app works for offline and I won’t go into the wilderness without offline maps.
If you are Canadian don’t bother with this app. At the create account page only gives option for zip code. So appears this app is only good in the states for Americans.
Overall great app and user friendly. Only thing I didnt like was that it reloads everytime you exit out of it. I was bouncing back and forth between apps, taking pics, and such. It knew where I was In the app but had to completely reload from the home screen, which seemed rather long. Other than that the data points and information in the trails were spot on and app tracks well. Trail selection was lower than anticipated, but I believe more are being added periodically.
Download last night. Picked and Ran a trail in an unfamiliar area with this app in my stock truck, today. Picked a 2-3 difficulty. App was spot on, for free. Pulled it up probably 10 times for what turns to make and it had me every time. For free. I’m going to run a couple more trails in my actual rig picking 5 to 7. And then probably give em the $25 yearly. Very impressed so far. Best wheeling app I’ve used, hands down.
App is fine but unless you are out there that much to justify the $24.99 annual fee for info to public access, trail head, forest roads that you can get for free on a gov website or other apps….not really worth it as it picks & chooses what trails they give access too. Can be annoying. You don’t find that out until after you select a trail on the map. Apps out there that give you all the info for no fee. Had this app for maybe 30 mins & deleted it for a better app
I think this app is amazing! My wife, myself and most of our family ride frequently and we always use this app. It helps with directions, including photos, and even points out local landmarks to stop at. The downloadable options are really great especially when off grid. To discover this app was created by people who actually ride gains my respect even more. If you are a serious off-roader you must try this app!
Trash. Only shows a handful of trails. I already know more places that this app has. TRASH.
