Compared to OzRunways on ipad. RWY is a long way behind function wise.
Keeps crashing on Android (Pixel 6 & Chromebook) as of yesterday (30 Oct). Was working well for first 2 weeks of my trial. DB: 2022-11-03. Release 5.1.1.14. DB 2022-10-17. Despite the disparity of features with my instructor’s Apple version, I found this app very useful and a delight with the wealth of information handy for flight planning & in-flight track confirmation. Just a pity that it stopped working for me. A 4-star reduced to 1-star rating.
Based on the reviews, I will not waste my money as I’m Android
There is too much to improve, specialy with Android devices. Here are some examples: – no satellite view using Android. – no fuel information (very important for planning navigations). – some restricted areas don’t appear in any chart. – Impossible to transfer wayponts between android to IOS. From IOS to Android is possible. Please, is there any possibility to have these issues solved? Thanks.

The new update to this app brings fantastic new visuals and new features that are very much appreciated. Although the RWY app is not as full featured as the Oz runways app on iOS, it is still good to see that we’re getting some attention.
