Please all access to all the search menus while in portrait mode in the app on an iPhone iPad or Android like I use in my overlanding vehicle would be nice to be able to search things and not have to turn the iPad in order to get it to work

OMG where to begin ? Very easy to use even for a computer illiterate like me .Easy to pre set ,easy to set it for where you want to go,easy to save maps Its the best for the price in my book. I tried Gaia ,not for me .This is truly my go to app for off road travel !

Been using OnX Offroad for almost two years now. We love to find trails near wherever we go or explore areas we know we want to visit. I’ve tried many different apps and none compete with OnX. The offline maps feature is phenomenal as well as being able to see private parcel and public roads. I generally use the hybrid mode to see satellite and topographic lines simultaneously. It is still not perfect but could be with user ability to provide in map feedback on errors.
Android Auto map is awful. My phone will show a precise track, but what is displayed in my Jeeps screen is the arrow 50 meters off track…I often have to stop to look at the phone to see if I am truly off trail. The arrow is also so gigantic you can’t tell where you are. Fix Android Auto or I won’t resubscribe.
Ridiculous that this is a subscription service. I’d gladly pay a few bucks for the app but not a yearly subscription.
This app is spot on, it’s easy-to-use, and the customer service is great. The desk top, tools-add route feature is exactly what I wanted in a maps application. The add route is not yet available on the mobile device but I hear it will be added sometime in the future. What I do is use the add route feature on the desk top, save the route and it’s there saved to the mobile device… Sweet! There is also help on YouTube if you happen to get caught up on a how to do.
