Install “mySunPower” on PC: Windows 10/8/7 & Mac
If you want to run the mySunPower on your PC, you’ll need the Memu android emulator. Here is the process of installing both on your PC:
- Download the Memu android emulator on your computer and install it. It will take a few minutes from start to finish.
- While finishing, keep the Open when finished checked and other additional offers unchecked.
- Once installed and opened, you’ll see a familiar interface with familiar apps on the screen, including Play store.
- Click on the Play store and log into your account using your google email and password that you use on your phone.
- You can now search for the mySunPower app within Play store. It will show you the app on the search results in the first position.
- Click on the app name and then click install to begin the download process on your computer to install mySunPower.
- It may take a few minutes for the entire process. Once complete, you can now open the app from your desktop or the emulator homepage.

Recent mySunPower Reviews
In Sunpower’s own words, they lost months of data. Logins unavailable, charts/apps inaccessible, customer support rude, uninformed, or unresponsive throughout the mess. An incredulous performance of incompetence across the board. Avoid the app, avoid the company. Edit: a month later, SunPower has taken no action to fix their all, resolve issues, communicate improvements, or assist in any capacity.
The old app seemed to have more information readily available. When I do a custom date search, it shows a flat line and no data. The round graph only shows solar production not grid use.
App worked great until the last few months. Realtime usage works about 5% of the time now and we have to wait 12+ hours for usage data to update. Customer service has been no help and takes days to respond. I’m glad our actual solar installation is reliable but it’s pretty stupid to not know what it’s actually doing because the app doesn’t work.
This app sucks…haven’t been able to see reports or any activity since July when they were doing ” system updates/maintenance”. Have Uninstaller and re-installed still nothing
Can not get hooked up to my system! Could be due to the lack of customer service from SunPower…
Garbage app and even worse customer service. Where do they find useless devs like this? E-Mail their support and NOTHING back. Fire them all and get useful individuals in there!! How can an app be this bad in 2022?? How painful is it to know you wasted money paying these useless community college dropout devs to produce this garbage. No weekly information?!? No info on your system to determine where it sits on your network private side?!? History gone. Incompetence at its highest level!!
great tool to see how my system is performing and understand how much electricity I’m using.
The app updates real time info pretty quickly, and the stats at daily or longer term level seem accurate. I can’t understand the live data though, and the only thing I can think is that the numbers populate in the wrong places. When it reports my panels are powering my home and exporting to the grid, it reports production at the panel (eg .3kW) is less than what my home is using (eg 2.5kW), which is less than what it is exporting to the grid (eg. 2.8kW). That must be the reverse, right?!
How come the app only shows energy produced and not my consumption?
Working great to show how much power I am generating. Recently, there was a problem with one microinverter, I got an email from sunpower but nothing in the app. Would be nice if I could see problems and reports in the app
