2nd update…Still have issue! Sent 2 emails. 7 days and still no help. Update… Every time the time changes I have to modify schedules because the unit does change time. So Ben isn’t the only one. I have sent email. I will update on the resolution. As you can see below this is not my first time reporting this. Previous …App has improved over time. However, with latest time change it doesn’t work now. Everything is an hour off. You would think the app could handle time change
Go with GE instead. This app will make you go crazy with it’s glitches, slowness and poor quality. Of course Frigidaire acts like they don’t know what you’re talking about even though it has had the same problems for years. I have talked countless people out of buying a Frigidaire because of this trash app and will continue to do it until it’s fixed.
Installed 9/1/22; working over 60 days now. Works well and IS much quieter ONCE the room temp reaches the temp set. Will maintain temp from there, only rarely turns off completely (in SoFla!). Leaks LARGE amounts of overflow water. Manual DOESNT SHOW, & Frigidaire IS CLUELESS, but there IS a drainage hole on the bottom which will accommodate a Univer Drain Port, but it’s right next to a 2nd Square hole that leaks too!! Had to install a small SS drain tray. 30% reduc in electric bill per month!!
Works well but could be improved upon. if it looses power for even a second it needs to be manually reconnected to the wifi. very good overall. now that I’ve owned a wifi enabled AC the next one I buy will also have wifi
App is absolute fkn garbage. Constantly disconnects, says wifi password is wrong. Avoid at all costs
I can’t stand the App. I have reported an issue with using the schedule for this App. I call about twice a year, and I am told they are working on it. We are 4 years in you woild think they could figure out the time change. I have it set to turn off at 5:30 AM. Right now after time change, since it is now the Fall Back part. My airconditioner that turned off at 530 yesterday now turns off at 430 today. I am so over this. My next smart device will not be a Frigidaire.
