It needs modern books everytime i search for a books i just find old ones
It’s okay for reading. I only use it because NYPL got rid of some of their other ebook apps. Notifications don’t work: I’ve lost holds because I didn’t realize they were available. There are no push notifications or emails. There’s no way to set this up within the app. You’re given a very short window of time to collect a hold: less than 24 hours, otherwise the book is gone.
