I was in Mexico recently, in a small fishing village. Going into this I knew I probably wouldn’t have reception through Truphone roaming in remote locations in Mexico. Which was true. Arrived here, zero reception. 1.5 days later, magically, I was roaming through Telcel, the one major provider in Mexico. Not sure if that was intended or not, but it was great! Very happy with the service and will use it in the future.

Two stars for good customer service. Polished app, easy to use. Only one problem: I’ve never successfully gotten the eSIM to work. Ubigi and other competitors work fine. It’s JUST Nomad. I keep trying as they have the best prices for the place I travel the most, but every time it fails. One day it’ll work. They do give refunds if you can’t get it to work.
Finally a convenient and cheaper option to roam while aboard!! Used it in my recent trip to the US. The connection and speed were great. It’s also convenient to use eSIM instead of swapping out physical SIMs. I used to do that on international travels and was always afraid of losing it!
Quick repose from the team to sort a minor app login issue. App works perfectly and makes the process even simpler for android users than it was before. Happy to recommend.

I just installed blue screen with the word Nomad. Nothing else…
Can’t check if it is useful, I got and activated eSIM in the USA, but only getting “No service”
Stole my money app doesn’t work. Took money from my venmo and then was like error could not process but took my money already and then when you try to contact customer service it says delivery failed.
App updated today. Clear cache/data: same problem. ——– App does not work: empty screen with the “Nomad” title. Mine is a Samsung S20 plus with the latest update as if today – that enabled eSim. Already cleared cache/data and even reboot the phone. Same empty start-up screen.
